Description

Falkland House is an 18th-century house located on the south side of Marygate, Holy Island. It is constructed of random rubble incorporating fragments from the priory, with a Welsh slate roof; the catslide roof to the rear has pantiles. The house has brick chimneys.

The two-storey, two-bay facade features 12-pane sash windows. The gabled roof has a flat raised coping, and rebuilt end stacks. A six-panelled door is located on the left return. An old brick chimney is found on the rear pitch.

Inside, the house retains six-panelled doors and shutters, along with an early 19th-century staircase with a ramped handrail.
