Description
13 North Street is a house dating from the early 19th century. It has a stuccoed and blocked exterior with a slate roof that features boxed eaves and a rear right lateral stack with a brick chimney.
The building has a double depth plan, consisting of two rooms wide with a central entrance. The front is symmetrical with three bays and a central doorway set in a round-headed recess. The doorway is round-headed and has a two-leaf 20th-century glazed timber door. The original windows remain throughout the building, with ground floor windows featuring 16-pane sashes, three 12-pane sashes on the first floor, and three 3/3-pane sashes on the second floor.
The ground floor has been modernized, but there may be interesting features that survive in other areas of the house.
