Cottage standing at the end of a row. Probably C18; mentioned in 1813 (deed in possession of owner). Roughcast cob on stone footings; gable end slate roof. 2 room, central cross-passage plan cottage, with a single room. Wing to the rear of the right-hand room. These 2 rooms are heated by a stack axial to the wing, and the overall L-shaped plan is probably all of 1 build. 2 storeys. Exterior Front (to Chapel Street): 2 window range, 2 and 3-light C19 casement windows to first floor; one C19 window to ground floor, and late C20 door under canopy. High Street front with one 3-light casement window to each floor. This cottage contributes to the village scene.
