Description
Mooracre Farmhouse is a small farmhouse, likely built in the 18th century and extensively refurbished around 1889. It features a combination of plastered cob, brick, and rubble on an exposed brick plinth, with brick chimney stacks and a thatched roof. The layout consists of a two-room and cross passage plan with gable end stacks and two storeys. The front is symmetrical with three late 19th century casement windows that have glazing bars, and the first-floor windows are topped with low gablets. There is a central door located behind a late 19th century brick porch with a slate gabled roof. The left chimney stack has a large clustered brick chimney shaft. The interior has not been inspected. A 19th century slate-roofed cottage that adjoins to the left is not included in the listing.
