Description

The Toll-house is a former toll-house built by the Minehead Trust, established in 1785. It features a colourwashed and rendered exterior with a pyramidal slate roof and a central stack with a cylindrical brick shaft. The building has an octagonal plan and is located at the center of a crossroads. It stands two storeys high and includes a gabled porch beneath a 19th-century two-light small pane casement window. Each side of the building has either one or two similar casement windows or one or two blocked rounded arched recesses. The interior has not been inspected.
