Description

Farthing Gate Toll House is a toll house built in the late 18th century. It features coursed rubble walls and a gable-ended slate roof, with brick stacks at each end. The building is two storeys high and has a three-window range. On the ground floor, there are square section stone mullioned windows, and the upper floor has two-light casements with horizontal glazing bars above. The central window on the upper floor is blind and has a painted inscription.
