Description
Dunn's Farmhouse is a farmhouse that dates from the 17th century or earlier. The left part of the building is constructed of coursed rubble, while the right part is made of brick. It features a stone slated roof with a gabled wing on the left and a half-hipped roof on the right, forming a T-plan. The farmhouse is one and a half storeys high and has a main block with four window ranges. The stone mullioned windows have ashlar dressings; the ground floor windows are three-light, while the upper floor windows are two-light. The ground floor windows also have returned labels. The projecting left wing includes a canted stone mullioned bay with a stone slate roof. The door at the intersection of the two ranges appears to be 20th century and is glazed. There are possibly terracotta stacks located centrally between the two dormers, and a brick stack on the left gable. Above the bay, there is a gable that bears a panel with the inscription 'W G 1610'. The interior is said to contain chamfered ceiling beams and oak panelling.
