Description
This is a milestone with a segmental top, located on the west side of Bailey Ridge on Lillington Street. It features an iron plate inscribed with "4 Sherborne Leigh 2" and has an OS benchmark underneath the plate. The milestone was erected by the Shaftesbury and Sherborne Trust between 1752 and 1877.
