Description

Almshouse Farmhouse is a house that was extensively rebuilt in 1849. It features coursed rubble walls with ashlar dressings and has tiled roofs with gable ends, which are topped with stone copings and ashlar end stacks. The building is designed in a 'Jacobethan' style and has a T-plan layout with one and a half storeys. To the left, there is a staged stack that includes a date plaque. The ground floor has stone mullioned and transomed windows with 2 and 4 lights. Additionally, there is a doorway to the left with a 4-centred head. Above, two gabled dormers are present, each with 3-light stone mullioned windows.
