Description
Church Farmhouse is a mid-19th century house located in Hermitage Village. It is built of rubble with ashlar dressings and has a gable-ended slate roof with stone end stacks; the stack on the right has two round, ashlar flues. The house is in a "Jacobethan" style and is double pile, with a smaller range attached to the left. The main range is symmetrical, with a 4-window front, incorporating both ranges. It has 2 and 3-light stone mullioned windows with square heads and returned labels, featuring lattice glazing bars. A partly-glazed door is set under a returned label. The property is included on the list for its group value.
