Description

Minterne Magna School, now a house, was built in 1860. It features rubble walls and a slated, gable-ended roof with ashlar dressings. There is a bell-cote on the right gable and a cross wing on the left, along with a gabled porch on the right. The building is single storey with a three-window range and a two-storey gabled cross wing. The square-headed stone mullioned windows each have a four-centred head, and the cast-iron casements are adorned with diamond pattern panes. The porch includes a date stone.
