Description
The Grange is a house built around 1860, with a later large square flat-roofed block added to the rear. The exterior is cement rendered and features a slate roof. The north gable end has wavy-edged bargeboards, while the south end has stone gable coping with moulded kneelers. The house is one storey with attics.
On the west elevation, there is a central full-height projecting gabled porch that also has scalloped bargeboards. Above the porch, there is a 3-light attic sash window with a high-level transom. The ground floor features a 4-centred doorway, with three steps leading up to a recessed 6-panel door that has a 4-centred head and glazed panels. Flanking the porch are two pairs of ground floor sash windows, each with pointed arched tops and glazing bars, set in square-headed openings with drip moulds.
The north gable end includes an attic 3-light casement window with arched lights, and the ground floor has a canted bay window with pointed arched sash windows.
