Description

Turvey Antiques is an 18th-century house that was altered in the 19th century. It is constructed from coursed limestone rubble and features a plain old clay tile roof with scalloped edged bargeboards. The building is designed in an L-plan and has two storeys with attics. The east and west gable ends include attic semi-circular headed windows with glazing bars and pointed-arched bars at the top. On the south elevation, the first floor has five sash windows with glazing bars. The ground floor features a central 19th-century shop front with a wooden cornice, flanked by two doorways that have rectangular fanlights, along with two additional sash windows with glazing bars.
