Description

Richmond House is an 18th-century house located on the south side of Turvey High Street. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble and features an old clay tile roof that is hipped at the west end and half-hipped at the east end. The house has two rear projecting wings and stands two storeys tall.

On the north elevation, the first floor has two 3-light leaded casement windows with Gothic pointed arched lights and high-level transoms, flanking a 2-light window. The ground floor features two 3-light windows of the same style, which flank a central doorway that has panelled reveals. The doorway is sheltered by a porch supported by Roman Doric columns, topped with a cornice and entablature.
