Description

These are a pair of estate cottages built in the mid-19th century. They are constructed of coursed limestone rubble with a roof of old clay tiles. Each cottage has two bays, with central ridge and west gable end chimney stacks built of red brick. The north elevation has four two-light casement windows with glazing bars to the first floor, and four similar windows to the ground floor, paired to each cottage, flanking a central doorway with a pedimented doorhood supported on two slender, square piers. The building is included on the list because of its group value.
