Description

The former stable block to Turvey Abbey, dating from the mid-19th century, features neo-Gothic detailing and has been converted into a dwelling. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble and has a roof made of banded fishscale and plain old clay tiles, with stone gable coping. The north elevation showcases two projecting gables that include blind lancet windows and is supported by six stone buttresses. The rear elevation has been altered to accommodate the house conversion.
