Description
The stable block with clock tower at Turvey Abbey dates from the 17th century and was restored in 1801. It is constructed of ashlar and coursed limestone rubble, topped with a hipped old clay tile roof. On the right side, there is a semi-circular headed archway. Atop the building, the clock tower features a square base and an octagonal domed cupola, both adorned with wooden modillion cornices. The stable block includes ground floor leaded casement windows.
