Description

This is a house, dating from the 17th or early 18th century, with later alterations. It is constructed of painted, coursed limestone rubble. The roof is half-hipped and now covered with concrete tiles. The building has a three-bay plan, with a red brick chimney stack situated between the two eastern bays. It is one storey high, with an attic above. The south elevation features an attic storey with five gabled dormers. The ground floor has four two-light casement windows to the two eastern bays, spaced widely apart but sharing a single continuous timber lintel. The western bay contains a semi-circular arched entrance. The building is listed for its contribution to the group value of the surrounding buildings.
