Description
South Lynch House is a mid-19th century house that incorporates an earlier building. It is constructed of rubble flint with brick dressings and features moulded brick stacks and slate roofs. The house has a three-pile layout, with a long central range and service buildings behind, flanked by shorter side ranges. The garden front displays three gabled bays, with the right bay projecting. There is a plinth and a blue brick band at the first floor level. Each bay on both floors has tripartite sash windows, with casements in the side windows and blind boxes. The gables have kneelers and continuous brick coping. At either end wall and to the left of the center, there are pairs of moulded brick stacks.
