Description
Anmery Cottage is a mid-19th century estate lodge located in Hursley Park. The building is constructed of flint with brick bands and dressings, topped with an old plain tile roof. It has an L-shaped design, featuring two bays and two storeys, with a one-bay wing at the front and an outshot on the side. The front of the cottage includes a 19th-century planked door located centrally next to the wing on the right, which is sheltered by a pent-roofed porch supported by carved brackets. The wing and the left bay have one and two-light cast iron casements with lozenge panes, and there is a small two-light casement above the porch and in the gable. At the junction of the roof, there is a large stack with a sloping offset.
