Description
75 Nun Street is an early to mid 19th century house constructed of rubble stone, topped with slate or asbestos slate roofs. The building stands two storeys high and features a main house with four bays, a stone stack at the northern end, and an additional one-window range that may have been a separate cottage. The main house has a low profile with 12-pane small sash windows, slate sills, and brick heads above the windows and door. The door is located in the second bay, with a one-window range to the left and a two-window range to the right; the left ground floor window does not have a brick head.
The one-window range to the north of the main house has a slightly higher roofline, a slate roof (grouted slate as of 1981), and a large modern 12-pane window above, which breaks the eaves under a shallow gable. There is a garage on the ground floor of this range.
The front garden is enclosed by low rubble walls.
