Description

The Round House is a holiday house built in the 20th century, featuring a circular design made of white-painted rendered brick and topped with a flat parapetted roof. The building has two storeys, with five triple metal casement windows on each floor. An attached circular entrance and stair tower rises above the parapet, providing access to the roof. There are sunk bands at the levels of the sills and window heads, and a metal-framed glazed door is located at the base of the stair tower.

Inside, the ground floor has an open plan layout, highlighted by a central pillar and a curved concrete divider that does not reach the ceiling. This divider includes kitchen shelving on its convex side and bookshelves on its concave side.
