Description

Ffynnon y Cycwll is a beehive-shaped well constructed from rubble stone, featuring a roof that is likely built using corbelled techniques. To the left of the modern wooden door, there is a plaque stating, "This well was repaired by subscription A.D. 1813." The well is recorded as early as 1624 and is likely the Brorghys or Burghers Well mentioned in 1492. It is said to be approximately 8 or 9 feet deep.
