Description
This early to mid 19th century cottage is built from rubble stone and features a grouted roof with a whitewashed stone stack at the west end. The cottage is single storey and has an L-shaped plan, with a slightly lower southeast wing that also includes a loft. It has 12-pane sash windows with red brick cambered heads, two located in the main range, along with a door and one sash window on the east side of the wing. The door is a ledged type with a red brick flat head. The wing has a small loft window at the south end with a brick head. The main range has a whitewashed west end wall that includes a loft window. At the rear, there is an outshut with two 20th century dormers. The front garden is enclosed by a curving whitewashed rubble wall.
