Description
Woolland Rectory is a house that likely dates back to around 1600 but was largely remodeled around 1850. It is constructed of coursed rubble with ashlar dressings and features a tiled roof that is gable-ended on the left and half-hipped on the right. There is a brick and rendered stack on the left, which probably sits at the gable of the original house. The building has two storeys and a three-window range. The windows include stone mullioned and mullioned and transomed designs. On the ground floor to the right, there is a five-light 'perpendicular' window with a returned label, with each light featuring a four-centred head. To the left, there is a four-light window with a returned label. The upper floor windows are three-light. The entrance is through a gabled porch that has a moulded two-centred head and continuous jambs.
