Description

Cross Cottage is a late 18th-century cottage located in Ibberton. It is built of brick in Flemish bond with flared headers, featuring blue-brick chainage at each corner. The cottage has a thatched roof, which is half hipped to the left and gabled to the right, with brick stacks at both ends. The building is symmetrical, standing two storeys high with three bays. The ground floor openings are set under segmental brick arches, and the windows are two-light wooden casements with horizontal glazing bars. The central entrance features a four-panelled door and a thatched porch, with a recessed panel above. There are 20th-century alterations at the rear.
