Description

Gays Farm Cottage is a cottage that likely dates from the 18th century, with a 20th-century extension. It has plastered cob or rubble footings, a cob stack with a rendered brick stop, and a thatched roof. The cottage is a gable-end, two-room structure facing south, with a stack projecting from the right (east) end and a single-room extension added to the west. It is two stories tall and features an irregular two-window front made up of late 19th-century casements of various sizes. The door is located at the left end. The single-storey extension has a hipped thatch roof and a tall rendered chimney shaft.
