Description

Langbeer Farm House is a farmhouse dating from around the 16th century. The eaves were raised in the 18th or 19th century. It is constructed of stone rubble and has a slate roof with gabled ends. The building is two storeys high and features a three-window range, with 19th century and modern casements. There is a glazed door located off-centre leading to a cross passage. The house has brick chimney stacks at the ridge and ends, and a modern lean-to has been added at the rear. Inside, there is a plank and muntin screen at the higher end and a heavy timber doorframe in the cross passage, although the original arched head has been removed.
