Description

Lower Rodway Farmhouse is a circa late 17th-century farmhouse. It is constructed of stone rubble with a slate, hipped roof. The main facade has three windows arranged across two storeys. The windows are modern metal-framed casements. A modern glazed porch shelters the doorway, which is positioned slightly left of centre. A brick chimney stack rises from the roof towards the left. A lean-to addition is located at the rear (west) of the building. Internally, the farmhouse features a baffle entry and a ceiling beam with run-out stops, and a stop-chamfered spine beam.
