Description
Bishoper Farmhouse is a late 17th-century farmhouse that has undergone 19th-century alterations. It is constructed of coursed rubble with flush rusticated dressed stone quoins, timber lintels, and features a gabled stone slate roof with a central brick stack. The building has an L-shaped plan and is two stories high with a five-window south front. The windows are 2-light small leaded pane casements from the 19th century, set in original 17th-century openings. The central gabled stone porch has a six-panel door with two top lights. There is a continuous string course with flush relieving arches above the ground floor windows. Additionally, there is one original 3-light ovolo-moulded mullion located on the east wall of the rear wing.
