Description

Milestone dated 1755-6, associated with the Malmesbury Turnpike. It is a limestone post with a cambered top, standing 1 metre high. On the east face, there is a cast iron mile plate that reads: TETBURY/3/MILES/MALMSB.Y/2/MILES.
