Description

Milestone, probably from the mid to late 18th century. It is a very large single stone slab with a rounded pyramidal top, standing about 1.3 meters high. Attached to it is a rectangular iron plate with a simple moulded edge, which has the inscription reading "TETBURY / 2 / MILES / MALMSBY / 3 / MILES."
