Description

This milestone, located on the north side of the A4135 in Beverston, dates from the mid to late 18th century. It is a large, single rounded stone slab approximately 0.70 meters high. Attached to the stone is a moulded rectangular iron plate that is painted white with a black frame. The plate features embossed lettering that reads "TETBURY / I / DURSLEY / & / WOTTON / 9".
