Description
No 3 Charlton Cottages is a building that was originally two cottages and is now a single house. It dates from the 17th century and underwent substantial restoration in the 1970s. The structure is made of rubble stone and features a Cotswold stone-slate roof with various stone stacks. It has a double range design with a large cross gable on the left and a smaller gable on the right, both adorned with finials. The building is two storeys high. The main facade faces north and includes two windows on the first floor: a three-light window on the left and a single light window on the right. The ground floor has three two-light windows, all of which are 20th-century metal casements with renewed stone mullions. The entrance is through a 20th-century door located on the east side. The west side of the building retains four original 17th-century stone mullion windows.
