Description

No. 15 Charlton Road is a small house that is part of a terrace, built in the early 18th century. The house is rendered and features a Cotswold stone slate roof with a stone ridge stack on the left side. It is a single range structure with two storeys and an attic. The front has one window with twin plain wood casements, framed by a moulded stone architrave and a vermiculated keystone. The ground floor window has a similar surround, with a wood mullion and a transom window. There is a string course between the floors. To the left of the front is a door with a matching surround, leading to a 20th-century boarded door. Above the eaves, there is a small hipped dormer that contains twin wood casements. Originally, this house was part of a larger building with No. 17 to the left, which has since lost its decorative features and is no longer considered worthy of listing.
