Description

No. 79 Wakeham is a small house located at the end of a row, dating from the mid-18th century. It features a rubble front with rendered gables and back, topped with a slate roof. The house is arranged in two parallel ranges and has two storeys with a single window. The front includes 12-pane sash windows. On the left side, there is a gabled porch made of large stone blocks, which includes cheeks and leads to a 20th-century door. At the back, there is a very small 4-pane sash window. The house has a raised verge on the left and a tall brick chimney stack on the right. It is modest in size and forms a pair with the adjoining No. 81.
