Description

The former stable block at Number 44, known as The Old House, dates from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble stone and features a Cotswold stone slate roof with a small stone stack on the left. The building has a central projecting gable that includes a large keyed oculus and an arched stone doorway beneath it. To the left of the doorway is a lunette window, and above it is a small arched window. There is also a double-doored opening on the right side.
