Description

Milestone, probably from the mid to late 18th century. It is a large single rounded stone slab, approximately 1 meter high, with a chamfered base at the front. Attached to the stone is a moulded rectangular iron plate that is painted white with a black frame. The plate features embossed lettering with the inscription: "TETBURY / 2 / DURSLEY / & / WOTTON / 8".
