Description
No. 3 Beverston is a detached house, likely built in the early 17th century and enlarged to the south in the 19th century. It features rubble stone construction and a stone slate roof, with small stone and brick end stacks. The cross-gabled 17th-century wing has two storeys and an attic, accompanied by an additional single-storey side wing with an attic, as well as a small rear gabled porch and rear wing. The cross-gabled wing includes a three-light wood casement window with a timber lintel on both the front and rear sides on the first floor, and a two-light window in the gable at the rear, although the remaining windows have been altered. The 19th-century wing has two small gables, each with a single-light six-pane casement window, and a two-light window to the left on the ground floor, with a single-light window to the right. The entrance is located at the rear, featuring a plank inner door leading to a gabled stone porch, which is probably from the 19th century.
