Description

Milestone, probably from the mid to late 18th century. It is a single rounded stone slab about 0.5 meters high, featuring an attached rectangular iron plate with a simple moulded edge. The plate has an inscription in embossed lettering that reads: "TETBURY / 5 / DURSLEY / & / WOTTON / 5".
