Description
Chedglow Manor is a farmhouse built in the late 18th century, with alterations and additions made in the 1930s. The structure features coursed rubble with some areas of render and stone dressings, topped with stone slate roofs that include three stacks: a gable end stone stack on the left, a ridge stone stack in the center, and a brick stack at the right end. The building has a U-shaped plan.
The south-east front displays the gable end of a side wing on the left and a two-storey, three-window range with an attic on the right. The windows are 12-pane sashes set within blocked stone surrounds, and there are three hipped dormers featuring two-light casements. The north-west front was modified with a 1930s Cotswold vernacular style, showcasing chamfered mullion windows with hoodmoulds and a central, deep, Caernarvon-arched porch that has a plank door. The south-west front includes a round-headed doorway with a two-leaf glazed door.
