Description

Waverly is a range of cottages that was originally one house, dating from the late 18th century. The building is constructed of stone rubble and features a slate roof with gabled ends, adorned with 19th-century crested ridge tiles. It is two storeys high and has a four-window range. The windows are late 19th-century three-light casements with glazing bars. The entrance includes late 19th-century panelled and glazed doors, along with timber porches that have fretwork spandrels. There are brick chimney stacks at the ridge and ends of the building. This structure is included for its group value.
