Description
King's Thatch is a row of cottages that has been converted into one house. It dates from around the 18th century and is constructed of stone rubble. The building features a thatched roof with half-hipped and gabled ends, along with eyebrow eaves. The right-hand (south) end has a slate roof at a lower level. The structure is two storeys high, with the original cottage in the centre having two windows. It was extended in the early 19th century to the north by two windows and to the south by one window. The windows are modern three-light casements with glazing bars, and there are plank and glazed doors, including a central door that has a thatched porch. The original cottage has brick chimney stacks at the former gable ends.
