Description
Number 2 and Hillhead Cottage is a pair of cottages dating from the 18th century. They are constructed from plastered cob and stone rubble, topped with a thatched hipped roof. The buildings are two storeys high and feature a range of four windows. The 18th and 19th century three-light casements have leaded panes. Number 2 includes a ground floor splayed bay with casements and a flat roof porch, while Hillhead Cottage to the left has a thatched roof porch. There are rendered brick ridge chimney stacks and a large brick chimney stack with pilasters at the north end.
