Description

Combe Cottage and Combe House comprise an 18th-century stone rubble house with stone quoins and a slate roof with gabled ends, situated in Queen Street, Colyton. The building has two storeys and five windows, featuring three-light casements with leaded panes. Two modern glazed doors are present, and brick chimney stacks rise from the gable ends. A plaque on the front indicates restoration work took place in 1907, likely including re-roofing. Originally, Combe House served as the Manse for the Unitarian Minister, while Combe Cottage acted as the caretaker's cottage.
