Description

White Hart Cottage, also known as St Marys (previously White Hart House), is an 18th and 19th century cottage that was formerly a public house. The building is constructed of white-washed stone rubble, topped with a pantile roof featuring gabled ends. It is a two-story structure with a long, five-window facade. The windows are a mix of two and three-light casements and small sash windows, all fitted with modern louvred shutters and glazing bars. A modern plank door is located on the left side, and a plaque reading "J.S.1841" is found on the right-hand end. Modern brick chimney stacks rise from the ridge and ends of the roof. The building is included on the list for its group value.
