Description

Lauriston is a house with shop premises, built around 1830. It features a stucco exterior and a slate hipped roof with overhanging fretted eaves. The building has plain corner pilasters and is two storeys high with four bays. The windows are sashes with vertical glazing bars only, and there is a panelled door to the left of centre, accompanied by a rectangular fanlight. At the end of the building facing the road, there is a small modern shop window and a glazed door. The structure has rendered brick chimney stacks and is positioned at right angles to the road. It is included for its group value.
