Description

Sunnyside is a row of three cottages dating to the 18th century, located on South Street in Colyton. The cottages are constructed of stone rubble with a slate roof, featuring gabled ends and moulded kneelers. The design is generally symmetrical, with a three-window arrangement. The windows are mostly 19th-century sash windows, although No. 3 has modern casements and No. 1 has two modern bow windows on the ground floor. Each cottage has a doorway with a hood, with only No. 3 retaining its original panelled door. Brick ridge chimneys are a prominent feature. The cottages are listed for their group value.
