Description
Woodbury Antiques is a shop with a dwelling that dates from the early 19th century. It is likely constructed from plastered cob on stone footings, featuring a gabled-end and hipped slate roof. The building is a single-depth dwelling, with the shop occupying the corner room formed by Church Stile Lane and The Arch. It has two storeys.
The front of the building has a shop front set diagonally at the junction of the two streets, with a first floor that includes a slightly projecting and canted tripartite sash window with 12:16:12 panes, where the outer sashes are hornless. The ground floor features shop windows and an entrance arranged in a tripartite layout beneath a dentilled cornice. There are two hornless sash windows with two panes on either side of the door, which has a rectangular fanlight above it.
On the elevation facing The Arch, there is one blocked window and two 12-pane hornless sash windows on the first floor. The ground floor has two similar windows, a casement that was formerly a door (with the rectangular fanlight still in place), and a door. The elevation along Church Stile Lane has one 12-pane sash window on each floor.
