Description

VICARAGE ROAD 1. 1633 (West Side) The Hermitage SY 1287 1/135 II GV 2. 2 storey stucco front at right angles to road. Gable end slate roof, bargeboards and eaves fascia cut in trefoil pattern. Symmetrical elevation with 2 storey flanking canted bays and narrow centre window, Gothic sashes. Originally a farmhouse refurbished as villa in early C19.

The Hermitage, The Balsters and The Shrubbery form a group.
